Derelict…
by LSP on Nov.29, 2010, under Architecture, Beaches, Sydney, Work!
Just did some work for an agent selling a derelict building in one of the best locations I’ve seen for a while.
The decrepit 5 storey building is structurally condemned and vacant other than a couple who own the whole top floor and still live there in a leaky dilapidated mess.
I guess you would let a lot of stuff slide when you can check the swell from the kitchen table…
It’s the grey building to the right of the pimped out 5 storey modern glass mansion…
Asking price – $8 million…and that only gets you the land, so you will probably need the same again to flatten the block and build…well we can dream…

Flew down to Melbourne for a minute for work…no time to shoot the city (or really even see it) but shot a few on the flight down…
Flew straight over Canberra so got to actually see the wheel shaped layout that I was driving around last week…
Canberra and back…
by LSP on Nov.15, 2010, under Urban
642kms to Canberra and back in the rain for work today…
It stopped raining long enough to complete the shoot and have a quick look round the pretty unusually designed capital city of Australia.
The city only exists because the governments of Sydney and Melbourne refused to let each other claim the title of capital city…the bloody stubborn Aussies then came up with an alternative – build a new capital between the two but actually miles from anywhere…
