Australian Open

So the first big surf contest in 10 years came to Manly last week. The Australian Open of Surfing was billed as the biggest event in a long while in Manly. Only problem was that they decided to have a surf comp in the middle of summer…
Obviously the swell didnt turn up (2 ft onshore moosh) but just in case, the organisers also imported an ENORMOUS skate bowl, dubbed the Beachbowl, from California and plonked it down in the middle of the beach in Manly.
Definitely some of the best skating I have seen in ages… I shot lots…

This is what the view from a $15m house looks like. Cant show you the house, but trust me it was pretty gaudy… Money really cant buy style, but I would never get bored of that view…
