Continuing the timelapse learning meander…The passing of a day…24hrs in a minute and 24 seconds.
Not much happens? But then what has happened in the world in that time? Perhaps a huge amount, perhaps nothing significant in the overall picture of mans history. Either way I like the simplicity of it a little…
Still trying to work out what settings to use for stars, for sunrise, for storms…now I just need to find a view that offers more change than just the clouds…

This is not my footage. I saw it on Vimeo last week but didnt believe it at first.
However, it seems that it is possible to produce footage at 1000fps from a 7D, although its originally filmed at 60fps not 1000fps, and a plug in is used to generate the missing 940 fps.
It is far from perfect (for eg the wheel spokes should be visible at slower speeds, and the sky is very blown out) but it is certainly interesting to see what is possible, and its a LOT cheaper than a Phantom that some companies use…
The footage is well filmed anyway too.

Since I bought the 7D I have been randomly experimenting with it when I have had a chance to see what different settings looks like…
I finally got round to processing and editing some of the footage together…there aint much of a theme to it, just some imagery from around the city…
