Well after far too long I have finally got round to upgrading my tired but trusty old Canon 20D DSLR to the 7D.

I have been playing around with it all week and first impressions are very good. I can only compare it to upgrading from driving something like a Citroen AX to an Audi A3…both will get you from A to B but one clearly has a lot more functions, style and luxuries…

The only problem so far is that I already have a mountain of raw images and unedited footage and have had no time to deal with any of it…

A couple of quick tests I tried:

8 frames per second is pretty damn fast…
