I shoot houses with facades like this all the time around the inner west suburbs of Sydney.

They are normally really lacking in natural light and very narrow.

Never seen one renovated like this before…

Well, they cant all be perfect…

Australian indigenous art is like no other style of Art I have encountered. The intense textures, layering and detail all appeal to me but what I find fascinating is that all the pieces of artwork tell a historical story of events but in a very visual way like a map, and these events happened long before white man blundered in to the Aussie interior. Only in the last 10 years has anyone in the Western Art world really begun to recognise it as a genre of art that deserves respect in its own right.

The NGV at Federation Square in Melbourne now has the biggest display of Western Desert Art in the world.

I have been to Melbourne a few times for work, but finally got the chance to have a good wander around the lanes and check out some of the street art.
