I’ve supported Spurs for a long time. Why? cos my dad did and his dad did. Its been a topsy turvy ride…mostly turvy.

So when I looked at the Spurs end of season fixtures I was honestly less than positive – Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U and Man city all within a few short weeks and they had to win pretty much all the games to make 4th place.

Despite losing first to Blackburn and then Portsmouth, they got the business done over the Arsenal.
A glimmer of hope? But Chelsea? Really? I just had a feeling so ended up staying up to watch the whole match til 4am (bloody time difference)

Score: 2-1 and Spurs ran riot over them – it could have been 5-0!…got to be happy with that…

I know a lot of Chelsea fans and the weasels will probably still go on to win the Premiership, but its nice to give them a good mauling on the way.

So to celebrate here is a photo of the last time I watched Spurs Vs Chelsea – 2-1 at the 2008 Carling Cup final.

Next just the small matter of going to Old Trafford…

Wakeboarding…it has come a long long way since I first tried it on a tow system using an old button lift going round an artificial lake west of London in 1996…
Well impressive, especially with the towable sliders…

If we have hit Peak Oil as many suggest, is it ok to spend $100 on gas to have some fun before the cost of the same gas is more like $500?

Some friends have a boat in Wanaka and I happened to be driving past the Marina as they were about to go out.

After looking at the lake for 6 months it was fun to get out on it.

I havent been wakeboarding in about 10 years and although I did get up first time, unsurprisingly I still sucked…

A few good slams worked my shoulder and tweaked my knee nicely…still good fun though.

Check out Danny Macaskill in Edinburgh killing it on a single speeder…highlight would have to be the backwards manual…. (stick with it, starts mellow and gets better)
