Views “to die for”
by LSP on Jul.28, 2011, under Architecture, Australia, Environment, Work!
Utterly slammed at work all week but finished up with a shoot at a great house overlooking Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park.
Waverton
by LSP on Mar.26, 2011, under Architecture, Australia, Sydney, Work!
Shot a gorgeous house in Waverton (Sydney north shore) on friday evening which I cant show for confidentiality reasons.
While I was there a storm came through – I dont think I have ever seen the light change so much during a shoot.
This was the view towards the city before I started…(shot with iPhone)
In the middle of the shoot it started raining hard for about 10 minutes then the sun came back and this weird rainbow shaft of light appeared in the clouds…
End of the year
by LSP on Dec.22, 2010, under 7D, Photography, Work!
Last days of work before we kick back for some family and snow time…
I’ve shot over 1000 properties this year and just finished with a cracker of a house:
Sitting on the top of a hill with a 40 acre farm surrounding it so preventing any close buildings…
A long open plan multi level mainly wooden home with a lot of glass and amazing views from every room, and decks on all sides…
Oh and a lap pool at 90 degrees through the house…
Pretty close to my ideal home…
Imageination Christmas Sail/Party
by LSP on Dec.18, 2010, under Sydney, Work!
Its been a busy week…back from Aria at 3am and on the beers again at noon on the boats for the work Christmas party…
For sure one of the best Christmas partys I’ve been to, although the free bar after the boats might have been a dangerous idea…
Central Coast
by LSP on Dec.18, 2010, under Beaches, Work!
I had to go up to the Central Coast for a bit of work…geographically not far from Sydney but because of various waterway and no bridges it is really underdeveloped and has a completely different and laid back feel…
Derelict…
by LSP on Nov.29, 2010, under Architecture, Beaches, Sydney, Work!
Just did some work for an agent selling a derelict building in one of the best locations I’ve seen for a while.
The decrepit 5 storey building is structurally condemned and vacant other than a couple who own the whole top floor and still live there in a leaky dilapidated mess.
I guess you would let a lot of stuff slide when you can check the swell from the kitchen table…
It’s the grey building to the right of the pimped out 5 storey modern glass mansion…
Asking price – $8 million…and that only gets you the land, so you will probably need the same again to flatten the block and build…well we can dream…
Property Portfolio update…
by LSP on Oct.24, 2010, under Architecture, Photography, Sydney, Urban, Work!
Real Estate has been really dominating my shooting again recently…its been the busiest spring market they have ever had here.
Whatever I may think about the industry I work in and where its heading (!) McGrath, who is the largest client I work for, are still ruling the market and taking on some epic properties…
So I finally got round to updating my portfolio with some of the properties I’ve shot this year in Sydney…you can check it here…
Frantic/chilled weekend
by LSP on Jul.31, 2010, under ART!, Party, Sydney, Urban, Work!
Frantic funny night of greyhounds and then free bar work party madness (apparently no photos other than the fish tank bar…!), followed by a slower paced wander through the State library exhibitions and a lazy late lunch the next day…
