What is Podcasting?

For Estate Agents, it is a new alternative way of sending out new instructions to registered applicants, instead of email alerts or old fashioned post.

Think of it like this: As an applicant, instead of getting a brochure through your letterbox, you get a video brochure automatically delivered to your computer (and iPod if you have one) which you can watch whenever you want.

Why is it better than Email alerts or post?

Its not yet for everyone, but for the iPod generation who are used to it already, it is a far easier way to receive information. For starters, they can register to receive your podcasts without even having to type a single character, once they are on your website.

If they want email or post notifications, they have to type in all their personal details. Podcasting bypasses this requirement – its very clever. In addition to this, watching a 30-60 second video clip with an audio description is a much nicer way to absorb information.

Its like the difference between reading a book and watching the film (when you need to read/see 10 to find the one you like)

Do I have to have a video filmed of each instructions?

No, we can make video clips just from your own still photographs and property description.

We use a computerized voiceover for the basic version, or a human voiceover which we can provide, or you can send us, for better versions.

Why do I need Podcasting?
